Shelter and hospitality is one of the pillars of the Family Promise model

Heading 1
From July of 2017 until March of 2020, we operated a 14-bed rotational shelter model in tandem with the inter-faith community. Families received shelter, meals, intensive case management, and community support until they secured permanent housing. We also provided ongoing case management for families after they moved into housing to help them maintain housing long-term. With the arrival of the COVID pandemic, we shifted our programming to protect the safety of our families, volunteers, and staff. We have had to discontinue our rotational shelter model and are now sheltering one family at the a static shelter location. We are currently using 8 of the 14 shelter beds due to COVID restrictions and safety protocol.
