Night Without a Bed is a national event designed to raise awareness about family homelessness.

This year, Greater Portland Family Promise has several activities and events planned (see below).

Families experiencing homelessness are often living in shelters, cars, or doubled up in overcrowded apartments. The result is the same: countless nights spent away from the safety and comfort of a home.

Houses for Change

June 1- June 26th

This is a fun and educational art project designed to raise awareness and funds for GPFP.

Youth and teens decorate prefabricated cardboard boxes to look like a house. Participants educate family, friends, and neighbors about GPFP and family homelessness, and collect change to help prevent homelessness.
